Betty J. Campise, 71, who resided with her niece, Tammy Bock in Canonsburg, died Sunday, June 4, 2017 in the Canonsburg Hospital.

She was born August 19, 1945 in Cameron, WV, a daughter of Clair and Vesta Grace Strawn Scott.

Betty had worked as a cook at the former Ernie’s Esquire in McMurray and Kelly’s Pub in Canonsburg.

She was a graduate of Cameron High School.

Ms. Campise enjoyed bingo and playing a good game of Dominos.

Surviving are two sisters, Dot Coen of Canonsburg and Mary O’Bosky of Houston; four brothers, Gene Scott of Canonsburg, Raymond Scott (Carolyn) of Houston, Garey Scott (Linda) of Eighty Four and Richard Scott of Meadeville; and many nieces and nephews.

A sister, Clara Lee Scott is deceased.

Friends and relatives will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2017. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
