Denise K. Adams, 64, of Washington, died Thursday, March 8, 2018, in Washington Hospital.
She was born November 27, 1953, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Wilbert and Daisy Coles Adams.
Ms. Adams was a 1971 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School.
She had retired from Washington Crown Center as a custodian.
Ms. Adams was a member of the ReNewed Destiny Kingdom Church, formerly First Baptist Church of Westland.
She loved reading.
Surviving are: three children, Dietta Adams of Washington, Camille Dean of Washington and James Dean (Cassie) of Washington; three grandsons, Darius and Desmond Spinks and Devon Adams; a granddaughter, Sarayah Dean; two sisters, Audrey and Carol Adams both of Canonsburg; three brothers, Clinton Adams (Amy) of Houston, Kevin Adams of Charleroi and David Adams of Canonsburg; many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are: three sisters, Wilma, Vera and Tracy Adams; and two brothers, Dwayne “Rick” and Tony Adams.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Monday in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue Houston, PA 15342, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018, with Rev. Melanie Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
