Diana (Patterson) Preston

Diana Preston, 72, of Canonsburg, died Saturday, April 29, 2017, in ManorCare, Peters Twp.

She was born January 6, 1945, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Harold Patterson and Martha Prime.

Ms. Preston attended Canon-McMillan Schools.

Diana became an ordained minister through the Shiloh Bible Institute. She was a prayer warrior and devoted her life to winning souls for the Lord.

She had worked in many different job positions at the Giant Eagle in McMurray for over 20 years, retiring due to health reasons.

Ms. Preston enjoyed board games, puzzles and spending time with her family.

Surviving are: a son, Thomas E. Preston Jr. of Washington; a daughter, Annette D. “Peaches” Preston of Canonsburg; three grandchildren, Deandra L. Kelley, Keisha M. Kelley and Chelsea Howard; two sisters, Carol A. Patterson and Arlene Murray (James) both of Canonsburg; a niece Darshell R. Bennett; and a dear friend, Kim Robinson.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m., with services at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342.  Interment is private.
