George L. “Skipper” Maxfield, 60, formerly of Houston, died Thursday, May 25, 2017.

He was born July 11, 1956 in Lawrenceville, IL, the son of George L. and Margaret Perryman Maxfield.

George was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Houston, PA.

He was the last of his immediate family.

Surviving are an aunt and uncle, James and Rose Perryman of Pittsburgh and many cousins.

Private graveside services will be held in Lawrenceville, IL.
