Jason James Chadwick Higgins

Jason James Chadwick Higgins, 42, of Canonsburg, died Friday, April 14, 2017, in McKeesport Hospital.

He was born September 1, 1974, in Washington, a son of Samuel Higgins and Kimberly Ann Chadwick Higgins, both of Canonsburg.

Jason had worked in construction.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, old cars, and loved being around family and friends.

Surviving in addition to his parents are: a son, Jordan Powell (Brandi) of Canonsburg; a daughter, Angelina Powell of Canonsburg; his longtime companion, Michelle Powell of Canonsburg; a brother, Ryan Coen of Washington; maternal gram, Sarah Chadwick of Canonsburg; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Deceased are two brothers, Christopher L. Coen and Todd R. Higgins.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 20, in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made in care of the funeral home.
