Judith L. (Murray) Finkley

Judith L. Finkley, 68, of Canonsburg, transitioned to glory Saturday, February 18, 2017, in Canonsburg Hospital.

She was born July 2, 1948, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Mary Williams Murray of Canonsburg and the late James Murray.

Ms. Finkley was a 1966 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School.

She had worked for the former Washington Federal Savings Bank.

Ms. Finkley was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Canonsburg and a former member of the Eastern Star.

She enjoyed darts, softball, and bowling where she was a member of the Lucky Six Bowling League.

Surviving in addition to her mother are: a son, Jason Finkley of Canonsburg; a sister, Linda Pyles (Donald) of Upper Marlboro, MD; a brother, James A. Murray (Arlene) of Canonsburg; several nieces and nephews; and two great nieces.

Friends will be received from 9:30 to 11 a.m., the time of service, Thursday, February 23, 2017, in Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 120 Greenside Ave., Canonsburg, PA 15317, with Rev. Anita Lovell officiating.  Interment will be private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 724-745-2350.
