Katherine F. (Fehl) Morgan

Katherine F. Morgan, 88, of Canonsburg, died Monday, April 11, 2016, in her home.

She was born February 12, 1928, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Henry and Bertha Weaver Fehl.

Mrs. Morgan was a graduate of Cecil High School.

She had worked as a secretary for Blue Cross.

Mrs. Morgan was a member of Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church, Millers Run Grange and Daughters of the American Revolution.

She loved spending time with her family and also enjoyed crocheting and baking and was active in Canonsburg bowling leagues.

On April 10, 1951, she married her husband of 65 years, Howard L. Morgan Jr., who survives.

Also surviving are: a son, Howard L. “Skip” Morgan III (Rachele) of Washington; two grandchildren, Camryn and Luc Morgan; a sister-in-law, Patty Weaver; and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased are: a daughter, Karen Morgan; a brother, Harry R. Fehl; and a sister, Sara Jane Zyzak.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Thursday in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 15, 2016, with Rev. Don Coleman officiating.  Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church, 112 W. Pike Street, Canonsburg, PA 15317 or Washington Area Humane Society, 1527 PA-136,  Eighty Four, PA 15330.
