Margaret Joann (Hubbard) Mohler

Margaret Joann Mohler, 78, of Meadow Lands, died Friday, March 31, 2017 in her home, with family by her side.

She was born August 31, 1938 in Fly, OH, a daughter of Ernest and Margaret Witten Hubbard.

Mrs. Mohler was a 1958 graduate of Canonsburg High School.

She was employed by the GC Murphy Co. in the Washington Mall for 15 years until it closed. She retired in 2003, after 10 years of service from Family Dollar in Tampa where she had resided for a number of years.

Her hobbies include, crossword puzzles, camping, the Pittsburgh Pirates and vacationing especially at Presque Isle.

Surviving are four children, Kenneth Mohler (Melissa) of Bridgeville, Karen Mruk with whom she resided, Arthur Mohler (Mary) of Washington and Kimberly Patterson (Randal) of Canonsburg, eight grandchildren, Robert Mohler (Lisa), Dana Patterson (Adrian), J.T. Mruk (Amy), Alex Mohler, Randa Patterson, Melissa Mruk (Matt), Shana Patterson and Taya Patterson; 10 great grandchildren, Haley and Austin Mruk, Randal and Kimora Patterson, Adal Evans, Aiden and Ethan Charters, Adriana and Adante Chavez, and Leanna Garey.

A brother James L. Hubbard is deceased.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Monday, in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2017 with Rev. Hannah Loughman officiating.  Interment will follow in Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg.
