R.I.P. Brother. I will see you on the other side where all the B.S. In this life won't seem so important

I have a lot of great memories with Brian.....Grew up in church as well as all through elementary and high school....many sleep overs, many cokes to fend off going into shock......So many issues and took them all with a grain of salt.....You will be missed by many my friend. May you RIP until we meet again

I knew and remember Brian in all of our great times in High School, Campus Life and in visiting him at his store after he lost his sight. We double dated to the prom his senior year and both of us had dates from Trinity. I recently saw Brian at the Greenery and it was a good conversation we had, reliving many of our youthful memories. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family during this time. Trusting in the Lord, I know in my heart that Brian is living eternal life in our fathers arms. I will miss you my friend until we meet again.

I'm so sorry for Brian's family's loss. Brian dated my sister off and on throughout the years. I'll never forget his sense of humor, saying to eat lots of carrots...they help you see!!! He would always ask me for a cigarette when we picked him up from The Greenery. Back when one if my brothers drove a bus, he would take Brian and his dog into Pittsburgh. He never let being blind stop him! Brian had a good heart and was a go getter! He will be missed!

My deepest sympathy to Brian's family. I knew Brian from many years ago in Houston when we lived near him and his mother, Betty, who babysat for my sons. You can be proud of Brian's many accomplishments. He made a difference in this world.

I was so very sorry to hear of the passing of Brian. It seems like yesterday when we were a lot younger, living in Washington, going to have a drink or play cards at Russ Dougherty's house or having fun at Blind Association functions.. I will never forget you Brian. I'd like to think Brian and Russ are in heaven sitting together rooting on the Penguins! R.I.P. Brian. My sincerest condolences to his children and family.

I knew Brian as a new born baby boy across the street on Hodgson Avenue in Houston. His folks were dear friends of our family. Brian came into their lives a little late. He was always a pleasant boy, especially when considering his challenges. To read his life story in this obituary confirms the value of his having lived and contributed as he did. His family should be very proud.
