Robert L. "Soup" Campbell

Robert L. “Soup” Campbell, 88, of Canonsburg, died Tuesday, December 20, 2016, in Townview Health and Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg.

He was born January 22, 1928, in West Middletown, a son of Henry and Mamie Poindexter Campbell.

Mr. Campbell had worked for Arnold Pontiac in Houston.

He was a member of Church of God in Canonsburg and the American Legion Post # 253 in Canonsburg.

Mr. Campbell served in the Army during the Korean War.

Surviving are: a daughter, Myrtle Campbell of Canonsburg; eight grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Deceased are: a daughter, Denise Campbell; a sister, Lola Lewis; and a brother Joe Martin Campbell.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 pm on Tuesday, December 27, in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342.  Interment is private.
