Robert P. Knapper

Robert P. Knapper, 59, of Washington, formerly Houston, died Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in the Washington Hospital following a lengthy illness.

He was born October 29, 1958 in Canonsburg, a son of the late Thomas Knapper and Nannie Hairston Knapper Walker.

Mr. Knapper was a 1977 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School.

He was employed by Tru Food of Freeport until his health forced him to retire

Surviving are a sister, Kimberly Knapper of Washington; two brothers, Reggie Knapper of Houston and Jerry Robertson (Debra) of Danville, VA; and several nieces nephews.

Two brothers, Alan Knapper and Wallace Robertson are deceased.

Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. the time of service, Saturday, November 25, 2017 in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342.  With Rev. Anita Lovell officiating.  Interment will be private.
