Ronald L. "Bubby" Henderson

Ronald L. “Bubby” Henderson, 68, of Washington passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016 in the Washington Hospital.

He was born January 4, 1948 in Pittsburgh, a son of Clarence “Snooky” and Margaret Gee Henderson.

Mr. Henderson was a 1967 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School

He had worked at the former Ionnati Construction Company as a cement finisher.

Mr. Henderson enjoyed shooting pool, playing chess and generally shooting the bull with family and friends.

Surviving are his companion of more than 40 years, Cheryl McGill of Washington; four children, Timothy William of Uniontown, Rhonda Campbell (Sid) of Erie and Becky McGill and Cynthia McGill (Brian Demichelis) both of Washington; a brother Clarence J. Henderson Jr. of Los Angeles, CA; a sister Angie Henderson Reese (Robert) of Canonsburg; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A grandson, Jordan Dempster is deceased.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342.  Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2015 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray, with Pastor Fred Reese officiating.
