On Sunday April 7, 2024, the heavenly angels escorted Ada Kraeer Kinskey Zambelli, 96, of Canonsburg to her heavenly home.
She was born July 27, 1927, in Rhea, a daughter of the late Raymond and Grace Davidson Kraeer.
Ada attended Hickory High School and worked as an assembler for the RCA in Canonsburg and Meadow Lands.
She was a active member of the South Canonsburg Church where she volunteered with Vacation Bible School, church dinners and other activities.
Mrs. Zambelli enjoyed reading, watching Cornerstone TV, Jeopardy, the Pittsburgh Steelers, rainbows and camping and boating with her family on the Yough.
Married twice, her first husband Joseph Kinskey died in 1976 and her second husband Albert Zambelli died in 2002.
Surviving are two daughters, Karen Perry of Strabane and Janice Shipley of Houston; two sons, James Kinskey (Cindy) and Raymond Kinskey both of Strabane; seven grandchildren, Michael Perry, Brenda Calabro (Frank), Jamie Drake, Alicia Kinskey (Tyler Davis), Kayla Kinskey, Justin Kinskey (Brittany) and Mya Casterline (John); fifteen great grandchildren, Alan Perry (Marrina), Austin and Anthony Perry, Frankie Calabro, Robbie Frazier, Vanessa, Benton and Adley Kinskey, Kora and Kenley Maier and Jordan and Julian Davis; three great grandchildren, Bentley, Jasiah and Amiyah Perry; a son in law, David Casterline; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents and husbands are a daughter, Patricia Casterline; son in law, James Perry; grandson, James Perry Jr.; two brothers, Ken and Ray Kraeer; and a sister, Marie Goodman.
Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342, where services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2024, with Rev. Steven Parkhill officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
