Bob Seman, 62, of Blaine Township, passed unexpectedly, Monday, April 22, 2024, in his home. Bob was the owner of Seman Flooring in Washington since 1981.
He was born July 25, 1961, in Washington, a son of the late Michael and Jeanette Hollis Seman.
Robert J. Seman was a 1979 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School. He married the love of his life Lorie Shook on May 3, 1986, who survives. He and Lorie would often attend the Lighthouse Community Church in Washington with family.
Bob was a Jack of all trades and a master of one. As an Ardex Level Master Elite Installer and with his vast wealth of knowledge and expertise that he acquired through a long career of hard work and dedication he became everyone’s flooring Guru. He attended to every flooring emergency that was thrown his way. He enjoyed renovation projects and giving a helping hand to everyone that knew him. Although Bob’s passion was flooring his family was his true joy in life. He and Lorie enjoyed traveling in their camper with their pets, dear friends, children, and grandchildren. Everyone that knew him had been assured that he cared and wanted to help them in any way that he could. He always worked hard and gave his best effort. From helping his children build their homes and his grandkids climb and explore, he and Lorie instilled values in their children that love, and hard work will build a beautiful life filled with family and love.
Bob will be missed and never forgotten. He is everywhere and truly is a part of everyone that knew and loved him.
As Bob would say, “When in doubt give it gas. Thanks, Bob”
Also surviving are four children, Emily McDonald (Zach) of Valley Grove, WV, Katie Jackson (Cameron) of Claysville, Meri Wood (Brent) of Blaine Twp. and Addison Seman (Casadi) of Canonsburg; nine grandchildren, Lakynn, Tripp, Harlow, Selah, Rhett and Noah McDonald, Winnie and Maisie Wood and Bowen Seman. His dogs Peter James and Bugsie.
