Donna L. (Clarke) Zimmerman

Donna L. Zimmerman, 75 of Hickory, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018 in Southwest Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, Canonsburg, PA.

She was born June 14, 1942, the daughter of Glenn and Ruth Cox Clarke.

Ms. Zimmerman was a 1960 graduate of Fort Cherry High School and graduated in 1964 from California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.

She taught at the Clark School in the Washington School District.

Donna was a member of Hickory United Evangelical Presbyterian Church where she served as Deacon. She enjoyed swimming, shopping and traveling.

Surviving are a daughter, Lori Zimmerman Chase (Brad) of Dallas, TX; her former husband Larry Zimmerman; several cousins and nieces.

Deceased in addition to her parents, is a sister, Marilyn Clarke Maskarnic.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 26, 2018 in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342 with Lay Pastor Louis Templeton officiating.   The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
