Esther B. (Ankrom) Davis

Esther B. Davis, 59, of Canonsburg, died Thursday, September 6, 2018 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She was born September 2, 1959 in Washington, a daughter of Fred and Mary Groucho Ankrom of West Finley.

Mrs. Davis was a 1977 graduate of McGuffey High School.

She was employed as a visitor receptionist at the Washington County Jail.

Esther’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren.

On August 11, 1979, she married Robert Davis who survives.

Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are a son, Robert Davis Jr. and a daughter, Lauren Richardson (Michael) both of Canonsburg; two grandchildren, Hunter and Kimber Richardson; three sisters, Barb Ankrom of West Finley, Loretta Cobb (Rich) of Pensacola, FL and Cheryl Prosser of New Eagle; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received from 1 to 6 pm, Tuesday, September 18, 2018 in the Muse Fire Department #2, 186, Muse Bishop Road, Muse, PA 15350

Arrangements have been entrusted to the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342.

In  lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions in Esther's name to the funeral home.
