Gary R. Gray, 62, of Palm Bay, Fl., formerly of Chartiers Twp., died Saturday, June 2, 2018, in Palm Bay Hospital.
He was born February 27, 1956, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Robert and Joyce Gray.
Mr. Gray was a 1974 graduate of Peters Township High School where he was an All-American swimmer and then attended the United States Naval Academy
He then worked in environmental cleanup until his retirement to Florida in 2013.
Gary collected and restored antique furniture and clocks and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.
He leaves behind: three children, Phillip Gray and his wife, Danielle Romanetti-Gray of Alexandria, Va., Aaron Gray of Palm Beach, Fl., and Karen Gray of Palm Beach, Fl.; a granddaughter, Madeline Gray; two brothers, Jeff Gray and his wife Cassandra of Palm Bay, Fl., and Doug Gray and his wife, Bobbie of York Harbor, Maine; a sister, Pamela Coffield and her husband, Terry of Bennington, Vt.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
