John J. Dziak

John J. Dziak, 77, of Washington died Saturday, April 29, 2017 in the West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, with his family by his side.

He was born November 20, 1939 in Canonsburg, the son of John G. and Anna Dvorak Dziak.

John was a 1957 graduate of East Washington High School.

Mr. Dziak had worked at the former National Annealing Box Company and as a mechanic for Fazikas Transmissions.

He was a member of the Gospel Way Church in Canonsburg.

John had served in the Army and US Air Force reserves during the Viet Nam War.

On April 12, 1963, he married Paulette Taylor who passed away August 25, 2013.

Surviving are two sons, John J. Dziak Jr. and his wife Tula and Jeffrey Dziak both of Canonsburg; two granddaughters, Malina and Alaina Dziak; a sister, Anastasia Eimer of Canonsburg and several nieces and nephews.

A sister Pauline Dziak is deceased.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8p.m. Tuesday, in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342, where services will be held at 10:00a.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2017.  Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Ladies with Heart, c/o Joann McKeta, 696 Sugar Run Rd., Eighty Four, PA 15330.
