Lillian Pilkington, 92, of Washington died Wednesday, February 21, 2018 in The Grove at Washington.
She was born May 9, 1925 in Canonsburg, a daughter of Andrew and Margaret Hete.
Mrs. Pilkington attended Hickory High School and later Penn Commercial in Washington.
She had worked as an office supervisor for Industrial Gasket and Shim in Meadow Lands.
Lillian was a member of the Crossroads United Presbyterian Church.
She enjoyed quilting, sewing and bingo.
On April 24, 1945 she married Abraham D. “A.D.” Pilkington who passed away April 25, 2011.
Surviving are four daughters, Diane Worstell (Harry) of Florham Park, NJ, Linda Dolan (Francis) of Canonsburg, Bonnie Downing (the late Raymond) of Washington and Margaret Dino (John) of Canonsburg; six grandchildren, David Worstell (Tina), Christine Schneider (Michael), Christopher Dolan, Daniel Downing (Laura), Erika Lambert and Mathew Lambert (Amanda Luba); seven great grandchildren, Kimberly and Meagan Worstell, Tiffany and Trinity Schneider, Cadence Malson, Parker Lambert and Jordyn Dolan; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, John and Andrew Hete.
All services are private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342.
