Ronald G. Powell, 76, of Washington, died Thursday, April 11, 2019 in The Grove at Washington.
He was born April 23, 1942 in Washington, a son of Joseph and Suzzanna Little Powell.
Mr. Powell had worked at the former Pennsylvania Transformer in Canonsburg until his retirement.
He was a veteran, having served with the US Army, First Airborne, Screaming Eagles.
Surviving are two daughters, Treasa L. Wrubleski (Terry) of Washington and Rhonda Anderson (Scott Burkhart) of Altoona; two granddaughters, Cassandra Burkhart (Chris Miller) and Tausha Trusdale (Matt) ; two great grandsons, Landon Trusdale and Christopher Miller Jr.; two brothers, Anthony “Tom” Powell (Cindy) of Hickory and David Powell (Norma) of Claysville; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are twin great grandsons, Rodney and Ronald Burkhart who died at birth; five brothers, William, Gary, Donald, Joseph, and James Powell; and three sisters, Mary Ann Jones, Dorothy Balduzzi and Dolores Sifinski.
Services and interment are private.
