Tressa (Folkens) Roupe

Tressa Roupe, 94, of Washington, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017, in Presbyterian Senior Care, Washington.

She was born May 13, 1922, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Fred and Jennie Dykstra Folkens.

Mrs. Roupe was part of the Crossroads Homemakers club and volunteered with the Washington Hospital Auxiliary.

On May 21, 1938, she married Everett Roupe, who died September 3, 1993.

Surviving are: two daughters, Gloria A. Armstrong (David) of Chapin, SC and Sandra K. Dorsey (Edward) of Claysville; a son, Henry A. Roupe of Nellysford, VA; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Armstrong, Brian Roupe and Eric Roupe; a brother, Thomas Folkens of Florence, KY; and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased are: three sisters, Catherine Engle, Florence Colteryahn, Jenny Lancaster; and three brothers, Boyd, Joseph and Fred Folkens.
