Alice Mae McClure, 98, of Houston, passed away peacefully, Saturday, November 12, 2022.
She was born January 28, 1924, in Chartiers Township, a daughter of Walter and Alice Stenger Fee.
Alice was a graduate of Chartiers High School and was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Houston.
During World War II, she was a bookkeeper in West Mifflin.
She enjoyed listening to the Pittsburgh Pirate broadcasts.
On January 27, 1945, she married Walter Boyd McClure who died March 10, 1987.
She is survived by a sister, Mary Jane Woodhouse (Wallace) of Eighty Four and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents are a sister, Betty Jean Fee; and three brothers, James, Donald and Walter “Lefty” Fee.
Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. the time of service on Thursday, November 17, 2022, in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342. Interment will follow in Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg.
