Chad A. Cushey, 62, of Houston, passed away peacefully in his home March 6, 2024, following and extended illness.
He was born September 23, 1961, in Washington, a son of Karen Burns Pacilla and the late Charles Cushey.
Chad was a 1979 graduate of Washington High School and had worked for J & F Tire and most recently Sarris Candies.
He cherished the time he spent with his family especially his grandchildren and enjoyed fishing and gardening.
On December 10, 1983, he married Cynthia Lindsay who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Brandy Clayton (Brandon) of Prosperity; a son, Chad Cushey of Houston; three grandchildren, Micheal and Nevaeh Holmes and Amara Clayton; a sister, Valerie Espino of Tucson, AZ; a brother, Thomas Lukich (Lori) of Bellefonte; his stepmother, Eileen Dawson Cushey of Houston; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
At the request of the deceased, all services are private.
