Christina M. Dague Rubaker, 55, of Canonsburg, died Wednesday, March 3, 2021 in the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born May 30, 1965 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Edward Gigli and Barbara Tabor Gigli Angel of Dunnellon, FL.
Christina was a 1983 graduate of Ringgold High School.
She was Registered Nurse, receiving her training at the Washington Hospital School of Nursing. Christina worked as a hospice nurse and was a nurse for UPMC Shadyside and Magee in Pittsburgh, Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV and most recently the Veterans Administration Hospital in Pittsburgh.
She enjoyed reading and traveling, primarily somewhere with a beach.
Surviving are two sons, Bryan Dague of Washington and Alan Dague of Warren; two grandchildren, Bridgette and Donovan Dague; four sisters, Debbie Panos (Chris) of Cranberry Twp., Maria Majka of Delray Beach, FL and Janet Freimuth (Paul) and Lynn Martinez both of Conneticutt; a companion of nine years, Jeff Toporcer; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, two husbands are deceased, Lawrence Dague and Robert Rubaker.
All services are private.
