Cloteel Lauther Friesner, 77, of McKean, formally of Washington, passed away November 4, 2023.
Born on October 30, 1946, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Edward and Marion Allen Lauther.
Growing up in Houston, she graduated from Chartiers-Houston High School.
Mrs. Friesner was a former member and Deacon of the Church of the Covenant, Washington, and a member of the Usher Club in McKean.
She retired from Omni Packaging Inc. in Washington.
She loved to quilt and had hand made more quilts than one could count.
On January 20, 2004, she married John William Friesner, who passed November 12, 2012.
Surviving are: two daughters, Shelly R. Aylsworth and husband Lance of McKean and Traci L. Anderson and husband Phil of Austin, TX; five grandchildren, Brandon M Crawford (Ellen), Brittany E. Burkhart (Joshua), Deatrice R. Davis (John), Cody B. Skeen, and Chase Perry; two great grandchildren; and a sister and brother-in-law, Karen and James Simonini.
Deceased in addition to her parents is a sister , Nancy L. Lauther.
At the request of the deceased, all services are private. Arrangements are entrusted to McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA.
