Ernestine (Burgess) Burgess

Ernestine Burgess, 68, of Houston, died Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in her home.

She was born January 10, 1953 in Canonsburg, the daughter of the late Ernest and Helen Hilton Burgess.

Ms. Burgess was a 1971 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School. 

Ernestine worked for 43 years at the Canonsburg Hospital, retiring in 2013 as Emergency Room secretary.

She loved animals, especially cats.

Surviving are a son, Kevin M. Burgess and his wife, Deana Pritchard of Houston; a brother Robert Burgess of W. Monroe, LA; two nieces, Robin Hatten (Thomas) and Shandell Burgess; two nephews, Brian and Darren Burgess; her extended family and in laws, Kevin Pritchard (Cathy Miller) of Crooksville, OH and his daughter, Sarah Craig (Tyler) and their four children.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
