Everett Dee Revis, 75, of Houston, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018.
He was born July 29, 1943 Canonsburg, a son of Everett and Alberta Welch Revis.
Mr. Revis was a 1961 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School.
He served with the US Army for three years from 1961 to 1964.
He had worked in the steel industry for over 30 years for J & L Steel in Pittsburgh and Alliquippa, LTV Steel in Pittsburgh and Moly Corp., in Washington retiring in 2004 as a Maintenance Foreman. He was also employed as a custodian for the Chartiers-Houston School District for several years.
Everett was a member of Chartiers Lodge #297 F & AM, Canonsburg.
His greatest joy was his family and grandchildren.
On January 29, 1965, he married Karen L. Owens who passed away July 16, 2011.
Surviving are a daughter, Tammy Stollar (Ron) of Houston; a son, Shawn D. Revis (Tara) of Jefferson Hills; six grandchildren, Cassidy and Zachary Stollar, Justin and Jason McKown and Emma and Addison Revis; his twin sister, Lee Bedillion of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 14, 2018. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
