H. Jeanne (Bodmer) Hordies

H. Jeanne Hordies, 86, of McMurray, passed away peacefully, Thursday, December 23, 2021 in McMurray Hills Manor.

She was born February 11, 1935 in Houston, a daughter of John H. and Martha Page Bodmer.

Jeanne was a graduate of Chartiers High School and a member of the Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church.

On January 5, 1957, she married Michael R. Hordies who died August 28, 2016.

Surviving are four children, Michael Hordies (Tracy) of South Lake, TX, Lynda Natale (Ronald) and Dana Hordies both of Dallas, TX and Victor Hordies of Pasedena, CA; two grandchildren, Steven and Kara Natale; and two step grandchildren, Kristen Mins and Ryan Heurrman.

Deceased are a brother, John H. Bodmer Jr.; and a sister, Barbara Bodmer.

Friends will be received from 3 to 6:00 p.m., the time of service, Thursday, December 30, 2021 in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342.  Interment will be private in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
