Helen J. Boylstein, formerly of Meadow Lands, died February 4, 2022, in Rolling Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation, Waynesburg.
Born in Meadow Lands, she was the daughter of Joseph and Helen Hosko Volen.
Helen was a member of St. Patrick Church of St. Oscar Romero Parish in Canonsburg.
She had worked at the Canonsburg Pottery and later volunteered at the Washington City Mission.
Helen loved going to flea markets and garage sales.
She married Milford Boylstein who died February 6, 1991.
Surviving are a son, Randy J. Boylstein and his wife Lee Ann of Morgantown, WV; two grandchildren, James and Sarah Boylstein; a brother, Edward Witkowsky of Meadow Lands; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are a sister, Jennie Polosky; and three brothers, John Witkowsky, Joseph Volen and a brother who died in infancy.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 Monday in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342, where a Blessing Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the City Mission, 84 W. Wheeling St., Washington, PA 15301.
