James K. “Jimbo” Garove, 27, of McDonald, died May 24, 2021.
He was born April 12, 1994, in Pittsburgh, a son of James Jr. and Kathleen Moninger Garove of McDonald.
Jimmy was a 2012 graduate of Fort Cherry High School.
He had worked as a heavy equipment operator for Preston Contracting of Kingwood, WV.
Jimmy was a member of the Sinnemahoning Sportsman Club in Driftwood, PA.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and motorcycle riding.
Surviving in addition to his parents are: a son, James Donald Garove; two sisters, Brittany N. Garove Loiben (Bradley) of Bethel Park, Krysta Garove (Chad Stroud) of Burgettstown; a niece, Noa Loiben; a nephew, Carson Stroud; maternal grandfather, Kenneth Moninger of Eighty Four; paternal grandmother, Charlotte Hoffer Garove; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Deceased are his maternal grandmother, Beverly Patterson Moninger and paternal grandfather, James P. Garove.
Services were private and entrusted to McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave. Houston, PA 15342.
