Lynn V. Bowser, 80, of Washington formerly Canonsburg, went to be with his Lord, Wednesday, April 7, 2021.
He was born March 14, 1941 in Pittsburgh.
Mr. Bowser was a 1959 graduate of South Hills High School in Pittsburgh and attended the University of Pittsburgh.
He proudly served with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard for six years.
Lynn was a long-time member of the Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church, where he served as an Elder, Deacon and for many years led the Small Group Bible Study.
For the bulk of his working career, he was a salesman for Benco Building Products, selling to all the lumber yards in the Pittsburgh area.
Lynn enjoyed his wife’s cooking, reading, his music and playing dominoes with the Monthly Domino Group. His life was enriched by travel to several European countries and he especially loved Italy. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
On January 7, 1967 he married Adele Cipolone, his wife of 54 years.
Also surviving are a daughter, Lisa M. Black of Alexandria, VA; a beloved granddaughter, Ellie Blom of Burlington, VT; an aunt, cousin and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 Sunday in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 12, 2021, with Rev. Donald Coleman officiating.
