Mary Molinaro Obituary

Mary Jane Molinaro, 84, of Eighty Four, PA, was welcomed into heaven after peacefully passing away on July 4, 2022, surrounded by her loving husband of 64 years and her family.

Born August 3, 1937, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Valentine and Josephine Mroz Jarecki.

Mary Jane married the love of her life, Joseph Dominic Molinaro on September 27, 1958 in Guardian Angels Church, Pittsburgh.

Raised in the West End of Pittsburgh, Mary Jane graduated with honors from Langley High School in 1954. She was a devout Catholic with an unending faith in God. She had several jobs in her lifetime, but her most rewarding was being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Mary Jane and Joe worked tirelessly to create opportunities for their kids and were always there to provide love and support. She loved to ride the rollercoasters at White Swan and West View Parks. Another favorite pastime was dressing the kids in their pajamas and driving to Carnegie to catch the first set of Joe and his family band. Her Christmas tree cutout cookies and banana bread are legendary. She also enjoyed her monthly Card Club and snacks, the occasional trip to the casino, and all-night bingo with her mother Josie by her side. The comedic banter that she shared with her husband is something that her children have proudly perfected.

Surviving in addition to her husband are five children, Timothy Joseph Molinaro and his wife Sandra Ann, Jeffrey Scott Molinaro and his wife Lisa Marie, Kimberly Anne Molinaro and her fiancé Michael W., Matthew John Molinaro and his wife Dawn Marie and Joseph Christopher Molinaro and his wife Robin Lynn; ten grandchildren, Amanda Margaret (Molinaro) Tyner and her husband Noah, Matthew Timothy Molinaro, Sara Elizabeth (Molinaro) Barendrecht and her husband Arie, Tyler Frances Molinaro, Mallory Jane (Makowski) Yarmoski and her husband Daniel and Parker Edward, Nicole Marie, Rachel Marie, Jacob Christopher, and Joseph Robert Molinaro; a great grandson, Hunter Matthew Yarmoski; a sister, Dorothy Theresa (Jarecki) Winterhalter; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death are her stepfather, John Mroz; her sister Josephine Virginia (Ginny) Jarecki; and brother Valentine Michael Jarecki.
