Patricia J. Durish, 63, of Houston, died Monday, September 20, 2021, in her home of natural causes.
She was born March 22, 1958, in Washington, a daughter of Peter J. and Elizabeth “Libby” Lutes Durish.
Ms. Durish was a 1976 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School.
She had worked for Manager Care of America in Pittsburgh.
Ms. Durish was a member St. Patrick Church of St. Oscar Romero Parish where she was a long-time choir member.
She enjoyed yearly family vacations to the beach, following her nieces and nephews activities, bowling, and was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan where she went to many games and player signings.
Surviving are: two sisters, Darlene Congie (William) of Houston and Carol Gump (Alex Jr.) of Chartiers Twp.; six nephews, Tim, Todd and Troy (Stacey) Gump, and Bill, Robb (Debbie) and Joe Congie; and two nieces, Joelle Falcone (Sam) and Jayme Onda (Nathan); and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Deceased are: two sisters, Marlene “Molly” Easingwood and Joyce Zareck; and a brother, Peter Durish.
Friends will be received on Friday, September 24, 2021, from Noon to 1:00 PM, with a blessing service starting at 1:00 PM in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342. Interment is private.
