Rae Lynn McWilliams, 66, of Canonsburg, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023, following many years with Multiple Sclerosis.
She was born August 21, 1956, in Washington, a daughter of the late William McQuay and Ruth Ann King McQuay Cameron and her step father, William C. Cameron who helped raise following her father’s death.
Rae was a 1974 graduate of Washington High School and attended Edinboro University.
She had worked at the Metro Glass Plant in Washington.
Mrs. McWilliams was a member of the Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church where she had served as a Deacon.
Rae enjoyed her family, grandchildren, church and her dog Tomi.
On December 2, 1978, she married Thomas E. “Mole” McWilliams who died May 24, 2016.
Surviving are a son, William C. McWilliams and his wife Kathleen; a daughter, Cayce Schuetz and her husband Jeremy; eight grandchildren, Molly, Grace, Madison and Isla McWilliams, Melaynie Rubis and Brady, Molly and Avery Schuetz; sister-in-law, Sandy McWilliams of Canonsburg; nieces, Whitney Solvay (John) and Josyln Bilitski (Barry); and a great nephew, Reid Bilitski.
A brother-in-law, Kenneth McWilliams is deceased.
Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 Sunday in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 27, 2023, in the Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church, 112 W. Pike St., Canonsburg, PA 15317, with Rev. Don Coleman officiating.
