Rick Boyle

Rick Boyle, 52, of Canonsburg, died Monday, July 3, 2023, in his home of an apparent heart attack following years of heart problems.

He was born November 24, 1970, in Washington, son of Douglas and Irene Sewock Boyle of Canonsburg.

He attended Chartiers-Houston High School and worked as a security guard for Hollywood Casino at the Meadows.

Rick was a member of the Houston Independent Club. 

He was an avid Steeler Fan, enjoyed playing and collecting video games, loved horror films and was a big fan of The Walking Dead.  Rick always had a joke for anyone and had a deep love of milk shakes.

Surviving are his fiancé, Romanna Hrynewycz Looney,  a daughter, Kayla Boyle (Robert Cassidy) of Washington; three grandchildren, Shawn Boyle and Leoric and Evelyn Cassidy; two brothers, James Spingola (Ashley) of Washington and Patrick Boyle of Meadow Lands; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and his large work family at the casino.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Friday in the McIlviane-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 8, 2023.  Interment will be private.
