Thomas W. Douglas

Thomas W. Douglas, 72, of Meadow Lands, died Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.

He was born July 6, 1949 in Washington, a son of David and Hilda Damasio Douglas.

Mr. Douglas attended the Chartiers-Houston schools and was a member of the Houston Independent Club and Presston Hose Club in McKees Rocks.

He was a coal miner for many years and an avid Steeler fan.

Surviving are three children, Thomas D. Douglas of Sonoma, CA, Mark J. Douglas of Meadow Lands and Stacey Nance of Eighty Four; five grandchildren, Hunter, Eric, Matthew and Tina Douglas and Carrington Holmes; the mother of his children, Marlene McFeely of Washington; his second wife, Cindy Douglas and her children and grandchildren; his significant other, Andrea Trich with whom he resides in McKees Rocks; and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two brothers, David and Donald Douglas; and a sister, Gertrude Welsh.

Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. the time of service, Saturday, November 6, 2021 in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342.

Interment will be private.
