Barbara C. (Terputac) Davis

Barbara C. Davis, 85, of White Lake, MI, formerly of Houston, died Sunday, November 13, 2016.

She was born November 23, 1930 in Keisterville, PA, a daughter of John and Catherine Gerich Terputac.

Mrs. Davis was a 1948 graduate of Cecil High School and a graduate of Penn Commercial.

She had worked for Robinson Pipe Cleaning, the former RCA in Meadow Lands and subsequently became the private secretary to the late Frank Mascara in his law office and while he was a Washington County Commissioner.

Mrs. Davis was a member of St. Patrick Parish in Canonsburg prior to moving to Michigan.

She dedicated her life to her family and enjoyed playing bridge and golfing during her retirement.

On January 20, 1950, she married Harvey G. Davis who passed away June 14, 2016.

Surviving are three children, Brian Davis (Connie) of McMurray, PA, Keith Davis (Chris) of Havre de Grace, MD and Renee Shreves of White Lake, MI; six grandchildren, Nicole Driver, Grant Davis (Resa), Caitlyn Shreves, Hunter Shreves, Connor Davis and Tyler Davis; a great granddaughter, Avin Driver; and several nieces and nephews.

A brother the Honorable Thomas J. Terputac is deceased.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 6, 2017 in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342.  Condolences may be left by viewing the obituary at www.mcilvaine-speakman.com.
