Dane Clark Cole, 57, Pittsburgh, died Monday, November 28, 2016 in the Veterans Hospital, Oakland.
He was born December 22, 1958 in Southview, a son of the late Phil Adams and Esther Pollard Cole.
Mr. Cole was a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and was employed by MGM Corp. of Verona.
He was a veteran, having served as a Sergeant with the 902nd Engineer Co. of the US Army.
Mr. Cole was an artist and enjoyed drawing and painting. He was a former member of the IBPOE od W in Canonsburg.
Surviving are his wife, Tammy Mebane Cole; four sons, Dane M. Cole (Parniece), Dennis Cole, Jamaal LaVel Sparks (Amber) and Shane Cole (Jasmin Valenzuela) all of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Natisha Monaj Bush (Aron) of Warren, OH; 11 grandchildren, Daniesha, DeAndre, DeSeana, Shane and Brayden Cole, Zyaire and Leilah Bush and Elliott, Noah, Jacob and Leahna Sparks; three sisters, Loretta Reynolds of Bulger, Shirley Aston of Oakdale and Mabel Cole of McDonald; four brothers, Lester Cole of Westland, Douglas Cole and Daniel both from Florida and Dennis Cole of Canonsburg.
Deceased are his step father, Walter H. Cole, two brothers, Wesley “Ricky” Cole and Walter Cole; and two sisters, Carol Jean Cole and Juanita Rose Burgess.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Tuesday in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342. Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Canonsburg. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
