District Elder Charles & 1st Lady Joyce Patmon
Great Oaks Apostolic Church
41823 Enterprise Circle N #100
Temecula, California 92590

Dear District Elder & 1st Lady Patmon,

On behalf of Bishop Donnie N. McGriff, Diocesan of the 16thA Episcopal District of the P.A. of W Inc., and Chairman; Suff. Bishop William A. Benson and the entire Southern California District Council Executive Board, Staff and constituents, we extend our heart-felt sympathy to you and the family. Our hearts are truly saddened by the loss of your mother Eva Mae Patmon.

We realize that words may seem empty as you are grieving the heartbreaking loss of your beloved one, however, we believe it is important that you know we are praying that God will surround you in His loving arms, and that His peace will be your strength.

As we know that our Lord knows best, it does not repudiate the sorrow, sadness, or grief that may well up in your hearts. If it seems as though comfort is beyond your reach, you can rest in the Word of God as he tells us, “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4) Be comforted in knowing that as God is your strength, we unite together and remain here for you and offer our sincere support during this time of loss. We know, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (I Thessalonians 4:16-17)”… do not worry, you shall see her again!

Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family during what may be one of the most trying of times, and at such a time as this we extend our love, friendship, and prayers for the entire Patmon family.

Humbly in Christ,

The Southern California District Council
16A Episcopal District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Inc.
Under the great leadership of Bishop Donnie N. McGriff, Diocesan
