Dear Ray Lynn:

Condolences on the death of both your mother, Ruth Ann, in 2015 and your husband a year later. Sorry for the delay but living in Silver Spring, MD does not give a chance to review obituaries often. In fact, your mother's obituary showed up when looking for her phone number. Am truly sorry to hear that Ruth Ann passed away -- she was my mother's best friend. There are fond memories of your Mom at the beach with my parents many summers in Ocean City, MD.

She and my mother, Virginia ("Butch") Stathas (nee Chicone) are surely bowling in tournaments and playing cards in heaven!

God bless you and your family.

On behalf of my family I would like to send my sincere condolences to Bill and his family on his father's passing. Bill you know now as well as those that have dealt with these things before you that it is difficult and that we can only hope that time will heal the pain you all must be feeling at this time. God bless you and keep you in the palm of his hand as you deal with his death. My sincere condolences.

I played for coach McWilliams in hs at CM in the early 80s. I was very insecure and had a difficult time handling the pressure but he was always kind and supportive. His mentoring was very important in my personal development. Many of my teammates and I remain in contact and have such fond memories of those times. So sorry for your loss.

We are both deeply saddened by the news of Tommy's passing. I remember the times when we went to Canonsburg and enjoyed the company of Tommy and Kenny. Time and distance kept us apart since those days of happiness. Tommy's influence on others, especially the youth, is so evident in the obituary. We are judged by what we do for others, rather than what we do for ourselves. Tommy stands so tall in that respect. His obituary reads October 8, 1950-May 24, 2016. Those dates are just dates. That little dash in the middle contains everything that he did in his life. Well done, Tommy.

Mr. Mac will always be one of my fonder memories of my high school years. He was not always the nicest coach ( I remember having to run way to many laps around the softball field) but he was always there with a smile and hug for every little moment on or off the field. Prayers and thoughts to his wife and children and all who will miss him.

Tom was my son Adam Petras 5th grade teacher at First Street. He was such a great teacher. I would run into him alot over the years and and a small conversation could turn into an hour. I enjoyed talking to him. He will always be a great memory for us and a fantastic teacher he was.
My deepest sympathy and prayers for all of his family. God bless all of you.

Kenny--so sorry to learn of Mole's passing. Remembering all the times we spent as kids when I would be at the Wagner's. Mole was a great guy. Hopefully the good memories will bring smiles rather than the grieving tears. With my sympathy and prayers for you and all the family.

Tom was a great guy and one of the kindest. He had great mentors when growing up: his Aunt Marie (guardian) and his Grandfather Tom. He will be missed by all that knew him. Our sympathy to his family.

Tom, or Mole to everyone who knew him, was such a great inspirational coach to me as a young, youth baseball player. As a coach, he never seemed to pick the best players for his team, or worry much about his decision to pick the "players with lesser abilities" however, the life lesson learned was through his kindness and generosity to give and allow anyone who wanted to learn how to play baseball the opportunity to play on his teams.
I ran into Tom several times over the many years that I've known him, and our conversations always returned to those days playing little league baseball out behind the Brakeshoe plant.
Mole also had a great love for bargains. I would often see him making his rounds at local estate auctions, hoping to score big on a rare find.
Mole, you will be truly missed. Gone from our lives too soon! Such a great man!
