Ann C. Orbin, 85, of Houston, died Saturday, September 2, 2017 in her home.
She was born December 24, 1931 in Alliance, OH, the daughter of Michael and Anna Lazorak Brindak.
Mrs. Orbin was a 1949 graduate of Hickory High School.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church in Meadow Lands where she was a member of the Christian Mothers and Guild.
Mrs. Orbin had worked at the former RCA in Meadow Lands, the Washington County Community Care and had been a driver for the Intermediate Unit for 17 years.
She was a volunteer for the Community Circle Food Pantry in Washington.
Ann loved the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.
On July 1, 1950, she married John L. Orbin who passed away July 22, 2015.
Surviving are three daughters, Terry Wolfe of Houston, Sherry Surich and Barbie Orbin (Shawn Surich) both of Canonsburg; a son, John “Chip” Orbin, Jr. of Washington; five grandchildren, Erik Wolfe, Krista Surich and Ashley, Casey and Jena Orbin; and many nieces and nephews.
A brother Andrew Brindak is deceased.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 7, 2017 in Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Meadow Lands, with Rev. Carmen A. D’Amico as celebrant. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.
