David J. Caputo

David J. Caputo, 56, of Carnegie, died Wednesday, August 31, 2016, in Emergency Room of the Washington Hospital where he was taken after falling ill while eating lunch with his family.

He was born July 28, 1960, in Pittsburgh, a son of Constance M. Caputo of Houston.

Mr. Caputo was a 1978 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School.

He had worked at Mayview State Hospital for 18 years and was presently working as a banquet server for Sheraton Hotel at Station Square.

Mr. Caputo loved family, music, dance and was an avid collector.

Surviving in addition to his mother are two uncles, Samuel Caputo (Linda) and John Stack both of Canonsburg, an aunt, Victoria Femiani, of Canonsburg; cousins, Renee Christopher (Steven), Dyan Rowe Davis (Tim), Bryan Femiani, John Stack, Lisa Kruger (Colin), Nicole Lane (Kevin), Julieann Christopher, Meghan and Paige Kruger, Madeleine and Cameron Stack and Aidan and Nina Lane.

Deceased are his grandparents, Samuel L and Lucille Caputo; aunt Joan Stack; and an uncle, Augustine Femiani.

He also leaves his beloved dog Beauregard.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 7, 2016 in St. Patrick Church, Canonsburg.  Private interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery.  The family suggests memorial contributions to the Washington Area Humane Society, P.O. Box 66, Eighty Four, PA 15330.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342.
